New details from the investigation into the rape of the girl at the "Red Sea" hotel in Eilat:

At least 16 boys and adults were documented on their way to the room where the complainant was staying.

The police investigation reveals that the girl came to the hotel to visit a group of friends she knew from home.

At one point, the main suspect, the 27-year-old from her room, whom she did not know, tried to start with her in the pool and she in response told him he was too old for her.

A few hours later, the girl did not feel well after drinking alcohol - and the main suspect offered her help claiming he was wearing it.

He then led her to Room 216, where the alleged rape took place.

At this point, the security cameras recorded about 16 boys and adults walking towards the room.

In the documentation it can be seen that they invite each other to the room.

The girl's girlfriend, the investigation revealed, was by her side all the time.

The next day, the girl received messages from the suspects, from which she understood that she had been raped.

She later arrived in Ashkelon, her hometown - and filed a complaint with the police.

It is estimated that if one of the suspects had not written to her about what had happened, the girl would not have known what was going on in the room, as she would have been confused by the large amount of alcohol she drank.

This is how the investigators reached all the suspects.

In recent days, after two weeks of intensive investigation in the Lachish area, prosecutor statements have been filed while arresting some of the suspects, minors and adults, in connection with the rape of the minor - and tomorrow the prosecution is expected to file an indictment against 11 of them.

It should be noted that no indictment will be filed tomorrow against hotel manager Pnina Maman.

In the coming days, a decision on the matter is expected to be made by the State Attorney's Office.

Maman is suspected of failing to prevent a crime and disrupting investigative proceedings.

"This is a complex and sensitive investigation and it was very important to arrive at an investigation of the truth and bring it to a speedy conclusion, while preserving the victim and the rights of the suspects," noted Southern District Commander Superintendent Yoram Sofer.

The district commander further noted: "It is our civic and moral duty not to stand aside and report criminal acts, let alone to assist the victim of the offense."

During the investigation, visual materials, forensic evidence and more were collected, through which the investigators were able to reach the identities of all those involved and bring about their arrest.

The youth researcher from the investigation team accompanied the victim and is in continuous contact with her.
