The commander of the Moriah station in Jerusalem, Lt. Gen. Kobi Yaakobi, was found positive in a test he underwent to detect the corona virus, it was reported tonight (Wednesday) in News 13. He went into isolation and feels good.
It is not yet known how it is transmitted.
Yaakobi is known that as part of his job, he usually attends demonstrations every Saturday night in front of the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem against corruption and against Benjamin Netanyahu, as part of his role as commander of the forces on the ground.
About two months ago, before clashes in Balfour between police and protesters, Commissioner Yaakobi said that "we will allow everyone to demonstrate, we will not allow the violation of public order."
The police said in a response: "The commander of the Moria station, Deputy Chief of Staff Kobi Yaakobi, is positive for the corona virus this afternoon. The station commander is absent. "
