Police revised the evening (Saturday) that detained two suspects caused damage to signs protesting against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, after the pulpit of the "Peace Now" was established towards Zion Square protest march marking the 25 years since the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin was vandalized by youths. 

At around 16:00, a group of activists marching with a model of a submarine near the Ein Hemed interchange on Road 1 was detained by the police after not coordinating it in advance.

Two of the activists were detained for questioning.

The police said that they are preparing for the protests that are expected to take place tonight, near the Prime Minister's House compound, Zion Square and a procession that is expected to leave from there towards Paris Square, which was approved by the police in accordance with the conditions: "Ben Maimon and the nearby streets in order to allow the freedom of protest to all citizens, to maintain public safety, public order and public health."

Police blocked traffic on Ben Maimon, Gaza, Paris Square, Agron, King George and Keren Hayesod streets.

Additional nearby streets leading to these streets are also expected to be blocked.

Starting at 9:30 p.m., the noise will be banned using air horns, drums, percussion and other means of noise.

Until 23:00, the use of amplification means (megaphone or speaker) is allowed only, for the user's voice to be heard only, without music or noise of any kind.

All with reasonable intensity and in accordance with the police instructions in the field, and after 23:00 the use of the amplification means will also be banned.

Police reiterates: "We are working to enable the holding of general protest demonstrators, however we will not allow any violation of public order, and we will act resolutely against any attempt to disrupt public order or harm the normal existence".
