Six people were arrested Friday, November 6 at the end of the day near Lyon, while they unloaded from a truck about half a ton of cannabis, AFP learned from a source close to the investigation.

The vehicle, which came from Spain, was followed by the police from a toll booth on the A43 motorway, east of the city, to a warehouse located in a town in the north of the department of Isère .
Investigators intervened as traffickers unloaded around 20 bales of cannabis.
A large sum of money was also seized during this operation carried out by the judicial police, according to the same source.
