The pillars between the windows were covered with bricks and widened to balance the asymmetry they created (Photo: Elad Gonen)

However, the process turned out to be unchallenging: "The division of the columns between the windows was unequal, creating asymmetry and inaccurate appearance. To overcome this and disguise the asymmetry, it was decided to thicken the columns as much as possible, and cover them with bricks, which gave the columns For a beautiful and bold element, "says Malka.

"Another complexity in the project was a high wall in the back of the house, which was designed due to constraint, and really blocked the view. This wall became a green pearl, we turned it into a beautiful 'green wall', which can be seen from almost anywhere in the house."

Choosing natural materials and shades that connect to nature (Photo: Elad Gonen)

In choosing the materials for the project, Malka adhered to natural materials that connect to nature - wood of all kinds, black iron, natural marble and a combination of vegetation.

The color palette chosen to accompany the natural materials speaks the same language and complements them: earth tones, white, wood colors and green in its shades.

The whole house is built on one level, with a large and luxurious public space, which includes a spacious kitchen, living room and dining area, all in a spicy way.

Immediately upon entering the house, the eyes meet in its beautiful west, which is a separation between the entrance and the kitchen.

The Mashrabiya was custom-designed and laser-cut, and the shape that characterizes it appears as a recurring motif in other elements in the house.

The kitchen was designed in bright colors, with touches of cast brass, which give it a rich and classic look.

In the center of the kitchen stands a beautiful island made of African walnut wood and white Italian marble with delicate capillaries.

Green chairs have been placed around the island, giving depth to the soft colors and "bouncing" the space.

The living room and dining area stand along large windows, separated by pillars covered with brick and overlooking the garden enclosed by a brown wall, completely covered in green.

A charming sight, which brings nature inside.

The living room and dining area are furnished with furniture made of soft and warm materials.

In the dining area is a table made of heavy Goshen wood, combined with rattan chairs and black iron, a non-trivial combination, which creates a special look.

The furniture chosen for the living room consists of a long, soft linen sofa, to which green armchairs and iron and straw living room tables have been adapted.

"A formal choice was also made here, which accompanied me throughout the project, and repeated itself as a recurring motif starting from the west, with the special light hanging in the public space and the LED lighting recessed in the hallway," explains the designer.

The bedrooms are designed to suit the needs of the homeowners.

The master suite is very luxurious, and overlooks the green garden.

Along the length of the room is a spacious designed and pampering closet, ending in a luxurious shower unit paved with white tiles with touches of gold in the handles, lighting and sanitary items.

The resulting look is that of a luxurious, refined and classic hotel.

The homeowners' five-year-old son designed a Scandinavian-style room in black-and-white and light blue with natural wood carpentry items and a wooden swing hung from the ceiling in one corner of the room.

Malka says that the design of this specific room was the part that moved her most from this project: "This is an only and special son for this couple, and they asked for a different design for him, one that is not seen much. I tried to design a childlike and mature space for him. A room in soft colors, with a Scandinavian touch, which moved me very much in the end result, especially when I saw the boy's reaction. "

A childlike and adult space alike, which can grow together with the child.

Next to the son's room, a bathroom was designed for him, with an illustrated floor, white tiles, and refined blacksmithing.

In the garden of the house, there are scattered iron benches, sweet seating areas, and lots of greenery, which can be seen from every window.
