It's about drug trafficking on a grand scale.

In the dock sits a 22-year-old from Pliening who has provided courier services

The people behind it are Afghan asylum seekers who are said to have organized a trade in cannabis, cocaine and amphetamines in the kilo range as well as in ecstasy in the Mühldorf am Inn area and Munich.

The indictment accused the Plieninger of having undertaken procurement trips to Bolzano, Frankfurt and Berlin, receiving cash from the people behind it and exchanging it for larger amounts of drugs.

The public prosecutor's office and the police assume that she was assigned this role because, as a young woman and a German citizen, she was not suspect and therefore no controls were to be expected.

Pliening: The clients were Afghan asylum seekers

The trips to Frankfurt and Berlin were private trips, said the 22-year-old on Thursday in front of the Munich district court.

The proceedings were also discontinued on these points.

The woman from Plieningen admitted that she picked up drugs in Bolzano - twice and a total of two kilograms of marijuana.

In return, she got a few parcels for her own use.

She smoked six joints a day herself.

Because she had spoken to the police about three joints, the judge warned that she shouldn't "fool around".

Discussion about "stupid" and "naive"

During the court hearing, there was talk of "stupid" and "naive" several times, once also of "brain-cracked".

The judge wanted to know how the defendant came into contact with the Afghans, who are being tried separately.

After she had previously been with an Afghan, she met another through a friend, from whom she has since separated again, replied the woman from Plienna.

Their child was born 14 months ago, a desired child, as she emphasized.

Expert: Defendant was exploited

Why a child with someone who - as she said herself - does nothing and “chills” most of the time, the court wanted to know.

“I thought he was going to change,” said the 22-year-old, who failed her final exam to become a bakery saleswoman.

When asked by the chairperson whether Afghan asylum seekers were particularly attractive to her, she replied: “It turned out that way”.

The investigating police officer said of the defendant that she was "simply structured" and "exploited".

An expert added that she was not “moronic” and was therefore fully culpable.

Sentenced under juvenile justice

In view of the fact that the defendant was in a new life situation because of her child, had learned from the offenses and had confessed to the procurement trips to Bolzano, the parties agreed on a range of punishment, which the court exhausted with a suspended sentence of two years.

It played a role that the accused committed the courier services as an adolescent and therefore juvenile criminal law was obvious.

The judge said that as an adult, the young woman should face a “double-digit prison sentence”.

Just recently, a 20-year-old Plieninger was on trial for serious robbery.
