10 vehicles involved and damaged, that is the result of an accident on the A95 autobahn at the Seeshaupt junction in the south direction on Friday evening.
The emergency services were amazed when they arrived at the emergency site on the A95.
Here a car with hazard warning lights, there a car with a flat tire, further up front a VW that had torn open the oil pan, warning boats with floor plates lay all over the road.
The debris was spread over a kilometer on the roadway.
What was certain was that the motorway had to be completely closed from shortly before 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the south direction.
A large contingent of emergency services arrived, around 30 volunteer Florians from the Beuerberg and Münsing fire departments, the BRK rescue service and three patrols from the Weilheim traffic police.
Those involved in the accident came from everywhere, including from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district, Weilheim to Munich, and from the Allgäu.
What is known so far: a man drove south on the A95 in his Smart.
At the junction Seeshaupt, the driver came to the left construction site area of the A95 for reasons that are still unexplained.
There he detected countless warning boats with his small car, including floor plates, and hurled them over all the lanes.
Nine vehicles that were behind the person who had caused the accident could no longer evade, and there were several collisions with the warning boats and floor slabs flying around.
The perpetrator came to a stop only after about 1000 meters on the right on the guardrail, total loss.
In the front of the polluter vehicle was still a warning boat with a floor plate.
The fire brigade had to bind the leaking operating materials, divert the traffic from the motorway, ensure fire protection and free the motorway from the debris that was spread over the entire route.
A driver had problems changing tires, here too the volunteers stood by and helped him with the temporary replacement.
The accident was spread over such a large area that the Weilheim traffic police came with six officers to record the accident.
As the local police announced, a man was taken to a nearby hospital, fortunately there were no other injuries.
The cause of the accident remains unclear for the time being.
The amount of the damage must be collected in the coming days.
