A young 18-year-old girl died on Sunday during a toboggan run at the Schlumpf ski resort, located in the town of Dolloren in the Haut-Rhin, we learned from the firefighters on Sunday.

The victim was accompanied by a 23-year-old young woman who was transferred as an absolute emergency to Mulhouse hospital, firefighters said, confirming information from the Latest News from Alsace (DNA).
The circumstances of the accident were not specified.
Contacted by AFP, the gendarmerie did not wish to communicate, indicating that an investigation was underway.
Located in the Ballons des Vosges natural park, the Schlumpf station rises to 1000 meters.
