Braunschweig

There was a similar incident at the
Emden Clinic
.
The
district of Leer
had then also stopped
using

AstraZeneca vaccine

Corona in Lower Saxony: vaccination campaign should be accelerated

vaccination campaign

Lower Saxony
- now the state government wants to readjust and
accelerate
the
vaccinations
and
improve
the
scheduling of appointments
.
The German Press Agency (dpa) reported on Tuesday.

case numbers
for Tuesday (February 16, 2021).
According to this, 335 further
corona infections
were reported to
the NLGA within 24 hours
.
The total number of cases in
Lower Saxony
since the outbreak of the
pandemic
increases to 154,368.
48 other
deaths
in connection with
Covid-19 disease
were also reported - this increases the number of deaths in
Lower Saxony
to a total of 3889. Another 447 people are considered recovered, meaning that a total of 137,864 people have survived Covid-19 disease.
The
7-day incidence
nationwide is currently 67.0.

Corona in Lower Saxony: The vaccination rate for the first vaccination is 2.66 percent
In
Lower Saxony
, 212,830 people have already been
vaccinated
against
Corona
for the first time
(as of February 14, 2021) - this corresponds to a vaccination rate for the

Corona in Lower Saxony: mutation outbreak in the ice factory - British variant also detected
A major
corona outbreak
occurred
in a large ice cream factory in Osnabrück
.
Around a quarter of the 850 employees had tested positive, reports the dpa on Tuesday (02/16/20219).
The tests also identified some cases of the
British mutation B.1.1.7.
proven - 300 test results would still be pending.
The factory in Osnabrück, according to the ice cream producer Froneri based in
Great Britain
, is the largest location for an
ice cream factory
in Europe.
Corona in Lower Saxony: man dies after corona vaccination
A dramatic incident occurred
in
Göttingen
on Saturday (February 13th, 2021).
After a
corona vaccination
at the Siekhöhe
vaccination
center in Göttingen *, a person collapsed on the way home.
The attendant reacted with presence of mind and brought the vaccinated back to the
vaccination center
.
Despite the medical measures introduced there, he
died
on site.
The exact cause of death is now clear.
