Tonight, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit the Khorasan province in northeastern Iran, causing material damage to a number of homes.
Fars News Agency reported that the earthquake struck a depth of five kilometers inside the ground in the Yakkah Saud region, and that its epicenter occurred 32 kilometers from the town of Razujirklan in the northern Khorasan province.
Earlier today, an earthquake measuring 5 degrees on the Richter scale hit the outskirts of Faryab city in Kerman province, southern Iran.
