A member of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, Judge Nuri Fares, confirmed that the ballot boxes in a number of polling stations were completely filled less than four hours after the start of the elections due to the heavy turnout by the voters.

In a statement to SANA's delegate, Fares stated that the election centers committees contacted the subcommittees in Deir Ezzor, Hasaka and Lattakia and were informed of their need to provide them with the empty boxes and additional publications, as they were provided directly with what is necessary, affirming that the electoral process in these centers will continue smoothly and transparently.

In a related context, the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections confirmed in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the turnout for polling stations inside the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic is very large and exceeded all expectations.
