Ten people were stabbed on a train in Tokyo, Japan, on Friday night by a man with a knife, according to the Tokyo Fire Department.
The department responded to a call at 8:38 p.m. local time and found victims with bloodstains when they arrived at the scene.
All of the victims were conscious and one person left on their own, the department said.
No deaths have been reported.
According to state media NHK, the suspect then walked to a nearby store and turned himself in, telling the employee: "I am the suspect in the crime that is making the news right now. I am tired of running."
NHK reported that the suspect appears to be in his 30s and the store clerk said he had blood stains on one part of his body.
