Gilching is getting another public charging station for electric cars.
She initiated the Fünf-Seen-Land housing cooperative in cooperation with the Fünfseenland energy cooperative.
From Friday, November 5th, the station opposite the cooperative office at Sonnenstrasse 11 should be operational.

Anyone who purchases “Fünfseenland-Strom” from the energy cooperative - cooperation partner of Stadtwerke Landsberg - pays the reduced tariff of 32 cents per kilowatt hour.
The normal tariff for users of the “Ladeverbund plus” app is 38 cents, the ad-hoc tariff (direct payment via QR code and EC or credit card) 42 cents.
At the turn of the year, the municipal utilities want to expand their offer to include a Europe-wide charging card.
The start of operations is delayed a little - according to board member Herzog, because Bayernwerke postponed the date for installing the meters.
The Fünf-Seen-Land housing association currently manages 365 apartments - also in Gauting and Stockdorf.
When the new building in Stockdorf is finished next year, it will be 389.
"We are planning to follow suit with the e-charging stations in Gauting and Stockdorf in 2022 or 2023," says board member Herzog.
The Gilchinger station is not only practical for him as a driver of an E-Smart - but also for the employees who have to go to appointments with the Renault Zoe.
