In the early morning of Monday (1st), a private car in Sham Shui Po ran into a roadblock and crashed into another taxi. The driver was arrested on the spot for dangerous driving and possession of drugs. Red's driver and a passenger were injured and sent to hospital.
According to sources, the arrested male driver was about 50 years old. At the time of the incident, he drove a private car at the junction of Tai Nan Street and Shek Kip Mei Street and broke through the police roadblocks to speed up and flee, on his way to Wong Chuk Street and Tai Nan Street. At the crossroads, it collided with another taxi, then both shoveled the pedestrian way, hit the big gate of the shop on Danan Street, and then stopped.
The police seized a small amount of drugs in the car. The private car driver was arrested on the spot for dangerous driving and drug possession. The taxi driver and a passenger were sent to hospital with minor injuries.
