White House spokeswoman Jen Saki reported last night (Sunday through Monday) that she had fallen ill in Corona.
Saki revealed this in a press release in which she clarified that she had not been around the president in recent days.
A statement from Saki said: "On Wednesday, in coordination with the White House leadership and the medical staff, I decided not to embark on a political trip with the president due to a family emergency, in which family members were found positive for corona virus. "Friday and Saturday. But despite that, today, I came out positive in the test to identify the virus."

"Although I have not been in close contact with the President or other White House staff since Wednesday - and I came out negative in the four days after the last meeting - I reveal the positive result today out of a desire for transparency. I saw the President on Tuesday," she said. "While we were sitting outside more than two meters away, we were wearing masks."
"Thanks to the vaccine I am experiencing only mild symptoms that have allowed me to continue working from home," Saki noted in the announcement, adding that "I plan to return to work after a summary of ten days of isolation."
