The office of Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazen this evening (Friday) called on the international community to "act urgently to stop settler terrorism in the Occupied Palestinian Territories of 1967 against the unarmed Palestinian people."
The statement added that "this terrorism is growing daily with the encouragement and protection of the Israeli occupation government. What we witnessed today in these terrorist attacks on the unarmed residents of their homes is proof of the encouragement of terrorism by the Israeli government."
The Palestinian Authority's Bureau called on the international community to "act urgently to force the Israeli government to stop terrorism against our unarmed people and people, and to provide international protection to our people against whom terrorism is being perpetrated before the eyes of the world and the international community."

The statement added that "no one will enjoy stability if the Palestinian people do not enjoy it, and because of these actions the region will remain in the cycle of violence."
The announcement referred to an incident that took place earlier in the last day, when Palestinian media reported that a Palestinian in the village of Krayot in the Nablus area was beaten by Jews who invaded his home at night, vandalized the place and fled.
As you may recall, terrorists opened fire on Thursday evening at a vehicle near Chumash in the attack in which they killed the late Yehuda Dimentman. The driver of the vehicle and another passenger were lightly injured in the attack in Samaria and were evacuated for medical treatment.
The terrorist organizations welcomed the attack and called for further terrorist acts until the "removal of the occupier from all Palestinian territories."
Hamas praised the terrorists and stressed that "the spirit of resistance in the West Bank cities is the guarantee of victory for our people and the fulfillment of its goals of liberation and return."
