The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, John X Yazigi, expressed his wishes for the return of security, recovery and stability to Syria, Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
In his Christmas message addressed today to the pastors of the Holy Antiochian Church, the Patriarch said: “We ask God for peace and recovery for Syria and the desired stability for Lebanon and for every country and part of this East and this world, and we ask for peace for the wounded East and for Palestine crucified on the side of the road of nations.”
Patriarch Yazigi expressed hope for the release of the missing and kidnapped, including the Archbishops of Aleppo, Boulos Yazigi and Yohanna Ibrahim, considering that the issue of the two bishops sums up something of what a person suffers from.
The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and all the East also expressed hope that the epidemic of the Corona virus and other diseases would be lifted from the world.
