CHRONICLE - The December 24 elections, even reduced to the presidential ballot, will not take place. But, anyway, are they really the solution?


On November 12, 2021, a major international conference on Libya was held in Paris, co-chaired by the leaders of France, Germany and Italy, as well as by the Libyan president and prime minister.

These rivals, who did not succeed in making the trip to Paris in the same plane, were temporarily elected in February 2021 by a Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, a college of 75 members, brought together by the UN in Geneva.
