Former soccer player Hugo Maradona, one of Diego Armando Maradona's brothers, died this Tuesday at age 52 in the province of Naples, Italy, according to his nephew Diego López Maradona.

In a statement, the president of the Napoli club, Aurelio de Laurentiis, other authorities and the team expressed their solidarity and grief at the death of the former player in 1987.

In the same sense, Argentinos Juniors, an Argentine club from which Diego Maradona emerged and in which Hugo also played, was expressed.
