A 26-year-old woman was seriously injured yesterday (Friday) by gunfire in Lod and was evacuated to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Beer Yaakov.
The hospital said that the young woman was admitted to the trauma room with a serious injury and an unstable condition.
The doctors are fighting for her life.
MDA paramedic Shir, a member and paramedic at MDA, Shimon Peresh, who was called to the scene of the incident, said that "the wounded woman who was conscious suffered a penetrating and bleeding wound."
The paramedics provided her with life-saving medical care that included stopping bleeding and giving medication, "We put her in a medical care van and evacuated her to the hospital when her condition was serious and unstable."
