An explosion was heard tonight (Wednesday) in a ballroom in Bnei Brak.
Three wounded were evacuated, two in moderate condition and one in mild condition.
"We heard a very loud explosion from inside the hall and saw people helping some injured people," said a man who was present at the event.
The explosion was apparently caused by a firecracker.
"Meanwhile, a number of medics arrived and tried to stop the blood and give the wounded water in the process," A. continued.
"The people here say the explosion was caused by an explosion but can not say for sure."
Police said that a preliminary investigation involved an explosive device thrown at the scene, and that they were investigating the circumstances of the incident.
