Heidi Klum is always good for a surprise: For the first time in history, her GNTM candidates had to do a shoot without make-up.
Mykonos/Munich – "Unfortunately, I don't have a photo for you today": This is currently the most feared sentence of 26 candidates who are still participating in the 17th season * "Germany's next top model *".
If Heidi Klum puts these words in his mouth at the end of each episode, it means the end of the ProSieben casting show for one or more of the young and older women taking part.
Though those closing words are one of the few things that haven't changed in the show's last 17 years.
Since the last season, the keyword "diversity" has been capitalized and for the first time in the history of the show, Heidi can no longer call the aspiring models her "girls" due to the abolished age limit when applying.

As always, a shooting for the candidates was on the agenda this week.
Up until then, everything was still going on as usual.
This time, however, the shooting for the show's poster campaign with star photographer Rankin had a very special motto.
"In this shoot, I rely on the natural beauty of my models," explained the GNTM maker.
This meant that the future mannequins should appear on the set without makeup and without makeup.
Instead of lipstick, everyone wore bright red dresses and were still eye-catchers.
Heidi Klum obviously followed a trend that is also spreading more and more on social media.
She has shown herself and model daughter Leni in the past without make-up on Instagram *.
Without being made up by professional make-up artists beforehand, the participants should score with one thing in particular: their personality.
"We arrived and didn't see any stylists," said model trainee Vanessa and her mistresses when they were taken to the location of the shoot.
Then Heidi Klum opened the candidates* via letter to the bad news.
Since these were the photos for the campaign, they should be seen all over Germany, it was initially said.
“It is particularly important to me that people see your natural beauty.

The only styling weapons available to the women were brushes, a hair dryer and makeup remover wipes.
While the 66-year-old Lieselotte was desperately trying to tame her hair - "I look like a mop" - candidate Lou-Anne struggled with her acne, which of course she couldn't cover up with make-up.
Even Leni Klum, who is already successful in the model business, probably suffers from pimples and impure skin, as she showed on Instagram.
No reason to give up the dream of modelling.
Another candidate, on the other hand, approached the "problem" in a solution-oriented manner: "There's a trick: If you pinch your cheeks and do that for a while, it takes about ten seconds and then they turn red like a natural blush." (jbr )
