On the afternoon of the day before yesterday (26th), when a taxi was passing by Leung King Station of the Light Rail in Tuen Mun, it collided with the trolley of an elderly woman named Chen (80 years old). He was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital in a coma, but after 11 hours of rescue, it was postponed to 4:51 a.m. yesterday (27th), and he died of serious injuries.
The incident happened at 5:51 p.m. the day before yesterday. Ms. Chen was pushing a trolley carrying paper wraps and other items, and she passed the covered area opposite Leung King Station of Light Rail, No. 31 Tin King Road, Tuen Mun.
A taxi arrived at the right time and hit her trolley. Chen's wife was suspected of losing her balance and fell, suffered head injuries, and was sent to the hospital in a coma for emergency treatment.
After investigation, the police arrested a male driver surnamed Han (71) on suspicion of "dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others". He has been released on bail pending investigation and must report to the police in late March.
