Police arrested a 30-year-old Petah Tikva resident last night (Sunday) at Ben Gurion Airport on suspicion of trying to smuggle rare reptiles

into Israel, inside his suitcase. The suspect was taken to the Ministry of Agriculture.

As stated, the suspect was detained for questioning at the Ben Gurion Airport police station, at the end of which he was transferred for further treatment led by investigators from the Ministry of Agriculture, along with the boycott of reptiles and their transfer to the dedicated care of the Nature and Parks Authority.
