The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 28 military sites during the military operation in Ukraine during the past 24 hours.
The Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, Major-General Igor Konashenkov, was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying that among those sites are 4 command centers, 3 field depots for missiles and missiles, 4 fuel depots and 6 areas for the concentration of Ukrainian military equipment.
He pointed out that the Russian air defense media had shot down a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter 30 kilometers west of the city of Izyum in eastern Ukraine, and 4 drones near Tamarino, Lyschansk and Volnovakha.
He also confirmed that the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic had shot down two Mi-8 helicopters that tried to evacuate the commanders of the Ukrainian "Azov" Regiment from the besieged city of Mariupol in southeastern Ukraine.
Konashenkov pointed out that since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the Russian forces have shot down 124 Ukrainian planes, 80 helicopters and 345 drones, and destroyed 1,826 tanks and armored vehicles.
