The Straubinger Gäubodenvolksfest had to be canceled for two years due to Corona, but it should finally take place again this August.
Straubing - Kulmbach is rehearsing the normal case after a two-year Corona break: the beer week will take place again this year.
Things are also looking good for the famous Erlangen Bergkirchweih.
And there will be celebrations again in Straubing.

After a two-year break due to the corona pandemic, the Gäuboden folk festival will take place again this summer.
The supervisory board of Straubinger Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungs GmbH decided unanimously on Tuesday evening (April 12), as the city announced.
On August 12th, the Gäuboden folk festival begins with the traditional folk festival procession of the festival hosts, guests of honor and clubs.

Gäuboden folk festival in Straubing: "some risks that cannot be fully assessed, but..."
“The state regulations now allow folk festivals again.
There remain some risks that cannot be fully weighed up, but I am pleased about this clear vote by the committee, especially in the interests of the showmen and landlords," said Mayor Markus Pannermayr (CSU).
The region had to wait a long time to be able to celebrate this festival "as part of our identity" again.
The decision about the festival was actually intended for the end of the month, but was then brought forward to give those involved more planning security.
The Ostbayernschau is to take place again parallel to the folk festival.
