A well-known abandoned school in Cai Shili, Ngau Tau Kok, it was reported that someone broke in in the early morning, and the security guards found it and intercepted it. During the period, there was an argument with the five people.

When the security guard called the police, he claimed to have been injured.

Police arrived at the scene to investigate and found that the security guard had no physical contact with the intruder and was not beaten.

As for the five middle-aged men who broke into the school, the police believe that they were just exploring and had no intention to do anything wrong. The case did not involve criminal elements, and no one was arrested.

However, since their number was 5, which exceeded the legal limit of the current "gathering restriction order", the police issued a ticket to the 5 people and released them after a verbal warning.

The abandoned school involved is the old school building in Caishili, St. Joseph's English Middle School.

The school building was opened in the 1960s and its mission ended when the school moved to New Clearwater Bay Road in 2011.

Since its establishment, the school has been one of the "pilgrimage" spots for explorers of the ruins. However, the site has been reclaimed by the government, so it is a government property.

The abandoned school also has security guards to prevent people from sneaking in; in addition to the abandoned people, many field fans also sneak in to play wargame games; and the police have also requisitioned the above site for exercises and so on.

Looking through the information, in 2020, when some wargame friends entered the campus, they found a large number of suspicious items in the men's toilet on the campus.

The police arrived at the scene for investigation and believed that the batch of suspicious items included hand-thrown home-made bombs, about 4 kilograms of "Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil (ANFO)" home-made explosives, semi-manufactured explosive devices, pressure cookers and about 10 kilograms of home-made explosives. Kilograms of chemicals, including Chlorophane, Shanae, etc.

After comparison, the chemicals involved are believed to be stolen items from the Polytechnic University in November 2019.
