A man lives alone in the forest near Eppertshausen.

Unknown youths brutally attack the hermit - the police need information.

Rödermark – After two attacks on a man living in the forest in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, the police asked for information from the population on Tuesday (April 26).

The incidents happened last week near Nieder-Röder-Straße in the forest near Eppertshausen.

In this area, a 60-year-old lives on private property in his small caravan, as reported by op-online.de.

On Friday (April 22) youths - two boys, one girl - attacked the man in broad daylight.

According to the police, the previously unknown perpetrators rammed a large wooden pole through the caravan window and hit the man in the face while reading.

The forest dweller suffered abrasions and a hematoma under his eye.

The attackers also damaged the man's tricycle and took his portable radio with them.

The attack was not the first incident.

Already on Wednesday (April 20), the two male perpetrators sprayed the man with pepper spray.

Attack on hermit: Police are looking for two perpetrators

The police describe the perpetrators as follows:

• The two boys: dark, short hair and a slim build

• The girl: long black hair

• 14 to 16 years old each

• Place of residence probably in the Rödermark or Eppertshausen area

The victim cannot provide any information on the exact time of the crime because he does not have a watch.

He only informed the police that it was light, i.e. day.

The officials are investigating dangerous bodily harm, property damage and trespassing.

The police are particularly asking for information from people who were in the Nieder-Röder-Straße area in the forest near Eppertshausen, near the Hotel Johannishof, the small hut near the Westermann house or around the sports field.
