Few details filter into the delicate affair which affects a 15-year-old teenager, whose lifeless body was found on April 26 at the home of his mother, with whom he lived, in the city of Abreuvoir, in Bobigny.
The latter, aged 62, had been taken into custody the same day, when the emergency services and the police were alerted.
This Thursday, the Bobigny prosecutor's office opened a judicial investigation for "aggravated neglect of a person unable to protect himself".
The mother will be presented to the investigating judge and the provisional detention has been requested by the prosecutor.
The investigation, which was entrusted to the territorial security of Seine-Saint-Denis, could reveal a case of abuse concerning this child.
According to sources familiar with the case, the teenager could have been malnourished, among other things.
The results of the autopsy, which alone makes it possible to determine with precision the causes of death, have not yet been revealed.
It must also locate the time of death, which could be prior to the day of the discovery of the body.
The mother had spoken of a "malaise"
The neighborhood knew little about the life of this mother and her 15-year-old son who resided in "the blue tower", a ten-storey building, in the shape of a tripod and designed in the 1960s by architect Émile Aillaud. .
The father is said to have made a report to the police for "non-presentation of a child", at the end of last week, but without this being followed by a complaint.
It was Tuesday, around 8:30 a.m. that the firefighters were called to intervene at the teenager's home.
He was then in cardiac arrest.
His mother would have explained that he had made “a faintness in the night, around 4 am”, according to the first elements of intervention.
