Today (29th) at about 10:30 p.m., a 9-year-old Pakistani boy was hit by a Pingzhi private car heading for Yuen Long when he was riding a bicycle through the Castle Peak Highway-Pingshan section near the Hongtian Street light. He was hit on the spot and thrown to the side of the road towards Tuen Mun on the opposite line more than 10 meters away.

A large beach of blood stains, a shoe and takeaway food were left at the scene; Pingzhi's right side of the car was damaged and the air bag was ejected. The male driver surnamed Huang (49 years old) was arrested for "dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others" and is being detained for investigation.

At the time of the incident, the boy was riding a bicycle with his family, and when he was passing the address light, he was hit and injured in multiple places.

According to witnesses, the boy was violently shaken for a moment, and the whole person was thrown to the height of the road sign, and then flew to the opposite traffic lane more than ten meters away.

Police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
