A festive weekend full of events, tutorials, tours and activities awaits the celebrating Israeli citizens starting today (Thursday).
Here are all the entertainment offers in honor of the celebrations of the 74th anniversary of the independence of the State of Israel.
Air Force Mets
The traditional Air Force flight will start at 10:00 and will run the length of the country, and this year for the first time also over Hebron.
In the coastal cities it will be possible to watch acrobatic performances by the lark planes.
The exact times when you can watch the planes, cities and various observation points around the country should be updated near the event on the Air Force website.
The National Flotilla of Independence Day
Disappointing news from the direction of Herzliya regarding the national flotilla, which was supposed to leave the marina in Herzliya and sail along the shores of Israel with more than 150 vessels and many sailors.
On Tuesday, the Herzliya Tourism Development Company announced that the flotilla would be canceled, due to the forecast that the expected wave height would not allow it to exist.
Heritage Sites and the "For the Heritage" March
Heritage sites scattered throughout the country tell the historic Israeli story, from the struggle for the establishment of the state, through the Israeli underground to its iconic leaders, pioneers, settlers and warriors.
Dozens of heritage sites will be open free of charge until Saturday (May 4-7), with road tours, special events in honor of the holiday, historical exhibits, audio-visual performances and performances by actors and musicians.
The Atlit illegal immigration camp and the Ben-Gurion hut in Sde Boker will host an accessible activity for people with disabilities on Friday.
At other sites there will be a quiet hour, which will allow a calm visit to the site.
On Saturday there will be a family navigation game in the style of "Race for a Million", where participants will move between a number of heritage sites using envelopes that include hints, puzzles and fun tasks.
The northern part will be launched from the valley train in Kfar Yehoshua, and the southern part will find a hand for a woman who fights buds.
The events are held under the auspices and cooperation of the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The list of free open sites and the activities that will take place there during the Independence Weekend appears on the website of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites.
The flagship event of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel is the "For the Heritage" march, which will take place on Friday between Degania and the Sea of Galilee, in a circular route 2.5 kilometers long, which will leave the Kinneret courtyard and return to it.
The march route will pass through exciting heritage points such as Rachel's Garden, the memorial corner for the Miss Farm, a doll's tomb - the first separation of the Kinneret group, the eucalyptus grove and more.
Along the route there will be colorful and cool play stations with music, actors and storytellers.
Price per participant from the age of 3 and up - NIS 10.
Each child will be given a gift - a game of conservation craft.

Gardens and nature reserves
The Nature and Parks Authority will hold free tours until Saturday at some of its sites, as part of the Ministry of Tourism's training project in order to assist guides in the country.
The trainings will take place in Yehiam, Tzipori, Kochav Hayarden National Park, Beit Alfa, Chai Bar Carmel Reserve, Migdal Tzedek, Beit Guvrin, Nahal Prat Reserve, Nabi Samuel, Herodium and more.
All tours take place at no extra charge beyond the entrance fee.

The breakthrough to Jerusalem and the conquest of the Castel
The Battle of the Castel and the breakthrough to Jerusalem at Sha'ar HaGai were a very significant turning point in the War of Independence.
At the Khan Sha'ar HaGai national site, trainings will be held until Saturday at the Heritage Center for the Pioneers of Jerusalem.
The tutorials will take place at 10:00 and 14:30 every half hour.
The national site of the Castel will tell the exciting story of the conquest of the Castel, and on the tour you will climb to the top of the hill for the values, experience the various value stations and hear how they were expressed in the battles and heroism of the warriors.

Country in the movie
At the Syrian intelligence headquarters in Contra, on Road 98 in the eastern Golan Heights, a special family experience will be held tomorrow for the 74th Independence Day of the State of Israel: a variety of missions and activities related to Israeli movies created throughout the country.

At the First Prime Minister's House
On Independence Day, free entry will be allowed to the Ben-Gurion hut, the first prime minister and the one who announced the establishment of the state.
From 15:00 to 11:00, there will be dancing to the sounds of Israeli songs of all time, inspired by the sweeping and spontaneous dances that broke out in the streets with the announcement of the establishment of the state.
There will also be a guided tour of the hut - under the guidance of the hut's director, Gil Schneider - which will be accompanied by anecdotes and stories from Ben-Gurion's life, a behind - the - scenes look at his private life and objects and objects from his and his wife Paula's daily life.

The eyes of the country
At the Hermon site, guided battle heritage tours will be held for the first time to the battle hills on Mount Hermon, and to the monument erected to Golani fighters who fell in battle.
The tours will take place on Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00, free of charge and with advance registration on the website.
On the occasion of Independence Day, a discount will be given, and entry to the train and another attraction will cost 74 shekels.

Independence in Nahariya on the bridge
On Independence Day, free entry to the Naharayim bridge site will be allowed, between 9:00 and 15:00, without the need to register in advance.
The site will feature guided tours, art corners for children and a musical show with Israeli songs of all time.
On Fridays and Saturdays there will be a special tour that combines the story of Kibbutz Gesher in the War of Independence with the special vision of Pinchas Rotenberg.
