The calls from witnesses triggered a large-scale police operation in Nuremberg on Friday.
Passers-by reported seeing a man with a gun.
Nuremberg – excitement on Friday afternoon, May 27, in Nuremberg: Various witnesses reported to the police a man in the city center who was carrying a pistol.
The officials immediately triggered a large-scale operation in which numerous emergency services participated to track down and secure the person they were looking for.
On Saturday there was another large-scale operation in Nuremberg, in which even the SEK was involved.

According to the police report, witnesses informed the department at 3 p.m. on Friday that a group of three people were moving in the direction of Siemensstrasse.
And that one of the men would be carrying a pistol.
During the subsequent search measures, the police forces "found three men in the Schuckertstrasse / Gugelstrasse area." During the subsequent search, the officers found a pistol and a machete on one of the people.

Nuremberg: Violation of the Weapons Act after a large-scale operation
The man could not or did not want to say why the 22-year-old was carrying the guns.
In a preliminary investigation, the accused now has to answer for a violation of the weapons law, according to the police press release.
