The five million plan for Bruck

The fire brigades of Bruck and Alxing can be happy - and the building yard right away.
Mayor Josef Schwäbl (CSU) announces that the major investment projects will apply to them in the coming years.

- The municipality will probably invest around five million euros in the corresponding infrastructure by 2025, says the mayor.
This includes a new fire engine in each case - an LF 20 disaster protection vehicle has already been ordered for Bruck, delivery is likely to be in spring 2023, according to the mayor.
In Alxing, the fire brigade is still in the process of finding out exactly what is needed.
Bruck: New fire station on a green field
There are already detailed plans for a new fire station on the green field: on the village road from Pienzenau to Alxing, a little off the EBE 13 district road on the left at the edge of the forest.
The area there should include a three-door fire department garage and additional rooms for the volunteer rescuers such as changing rooms, sanitary and equipment rooms, maybe even a training room.
The interior planning, says Schwäbl, is not yet ready for decision, since the planning is still in its infancy.
But one thing is certain: the fire brigade should share their area with the municipal building yard.
"We urgently need something for him," says the mayor.
And so, in addition to a heated work hall in the same building, a separate, "cold" storage hall for road salt, equipment and vehicles is to be built.

"So that we work sparingly and we don't have to heat everything," says Schwäbl.
A wood chip heating system is planned for the central building.
After internal planning, it is now time for the officially required steps such as the land use and development plan.
Schwäbl does not yet want to predict when the new fire brigade building yard will be ready.
“I never have a date,” he says.
First you need to figure out how things work.
"To cope with that is a huge feat for our small community." Possibly also with the help of a loan.

In Bruck - just like in Alxing by the way - an internal design by a draftsman from the ranks of the fire brigade has been announced.
Only later does the municipality want to bring an external planner on board.
"Nothing has been discussed with the municipal council yet," says Mayor Schwäbl, saying it's still too early.

However, a negotiation that has been ongoing since 2019 has been completed: the Alxing Brucker Genossenschaftsbank has withdrawn from a leasehold relationship with the archbishop's ordinariate in good agreement, and the community has taken its place: before the fire brigade moved into the building in the immediate vicinity of the parish church many decades ago , the Raiffeisen bankers maintained a warehouse there, the town hall chief explains the change of contract.
It should result in an enlargement of the current rooms, he says.
The decisive factor is "that the fire brigade can work well and safely" and that the relevant regulations and insurance requirements are observed.
