She was on set all day and in the studio all night, and on the weekends she did promotional tours and shot videos.
I was just over 20 years old and I thought I was invincible”, the singer and actress confessed.
But she wasn't: one fine day, sitting in her caravan, she felt that all her tiredness and accumulated stress, along with her lack of sleep, were beginning to affect her.
Lopez explained how she suddenly went from feeling completely normal to getting stuck when she started thinking about all the things she had to do that day.
“I was frozen”, the singer has written about the event.
"I couldn't see clearly, the physical symptoms started to scare me and the fear got worse."
Jennifer Lopez did not know how to recognize what was happening to her: "Now I know it was a classic panic attack caused by exhaustion, but at that time she had never heard that term."
As she explains in her newsletter that she sends to her subscribers via email, the artist questioned her own sanity until a health professional invited her to rethink her lifestyle.
