This Sunday evening, a terrible accident occurred on a small road in the Oise.
At the end of the afternoon, at 6.30 p.m., a vehicle traveling between Ribécourt and Dreslincourt, two parts of the same town in the northeast of the department, struck an aluminum lamppost which was located on the side of the road. .
Among the six people present in the car, two died instantly, the other four were injured, three of them seriously.
"The accident occurred near the rue de Picardie," says a senior officer of the Compiègne gendarmerie company.
The vehicle, a Fiat Punto, had just taken the bridge that crosses the D1032 before leaving the road and hitting a lamppost.
A driver and five passengers were therefore installed in the car.
Two of them, aged 20 and 21, from Estrées-Saint-Denis and Longueil-Sainte-Marie, were killed instantly.
Too early to know the circumstances of the accident
The other victims of the accident did not remain unscathed in the face of the violence of the impact.
Three helicopters were deployed.
“Two people were airlifted to the University Hospital of Amiens (Somme) and a third to Beaujon Hospital in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine).
They are in serious condition.
The last passenger was transported to the Compiègne hospital by road, ”indicates the officer.
The rescue operations lasted three hours during which traffic was cut off at the entrance to Dreslincourt.
For its part, the prefecture indicates "not to have information at this stage on the causes".
