On Monday evening, a candidate from the Ruhrpott sits across from Günther Jauch.

With her big mouth, the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" candidate manages to throw the moderator off the hook.

While there is hearty laughter in the studio, viewers at home get upset about the lady.

Christine Kurzmann from Essen stumbles when asked the 500 euro question.

"To talk about a certain topic - or also: something...?" Günther Jauch wants to know.

The possible answers are: A - clown, B - sepel, C - screech and D - hex.

But the "Who wants to be a millionaire" candidate is at a loss: "I've never heard of that".

Instead of thinking about the right answer in silence, Christine Kurzmann takes a different approach.

She peppers the moderator with questions, hoping to get the solution out of him.

"Have you heard that before?

You say that to your wife every day: Hömmal, should we jinx that now?” asks the candidate in a demanding tone.

He looks tormented, but a "Joaaa" can be elicited.

An answer that Mrs. Kurzmann immediately clung to.

"He said 'yes'*," said the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" candidate, even when Günther Jauch vehemently denied having given her the solution.

There is hearty laughter in the studio, because she, the Ruhrpottlerin, has a sense of humour.

On the web, however, the tone is very different.

"Mr. Jauch does not get a fee for today's show, but compensation for pain and suffering," scoffs a Twitter user.

Another scolds: "It's really unbearable.

Jauch throws up right.”

Numerous “Who wants to be a millionaire” viewers complain about the TV candidate.

Fortunately, there are also some who defend them.

"My goodness - just be a little more tolerant," says the social network.

"I hope the candidate from the pot doesn't read all these tweets here about how antisocial some people are and would rather watch a show minute by minute that annoys them than just watch another program," writes one viewer.

Recently, the new season “Who wants to be a millionaire” started with a record holder.
