Today, firefighters in Lattakia put out 13 fires in separate areas of the governorate.
The commander of the Latakia Fire Brigade, Lieutenant-Colonel Muhannad Jaafar, told SANA reporter that a fire was put out in the Daqaqa area in Shabatiyah, which spanned five dunums of olive and lemon trees, in addition to a fire of about three dunums of olive trees in Benjaro in the Jableh countryside, and two fires in two houses, the first in Sqoubin neighborhood in Lattakia and the second in Al-Qalaa neighborhood in Jableh, in addition to the fires of grass, cane and garbage in separate areas, without causing any injuries.
