A Journey with Melodies, a title chosen by Maestro Moayyad Al-Khalidi to knock on the doors of human feelings, tune the night of Damascus to the whim of the Dark Nightingale, and lead the Damascus Orchestra in its musical evening, which performed its second tour on the opera stage at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
The musical concert carried the most beautiful melodies of the great artist Abdel Halim Hafez, who was able to immortalize his name as one of the most important singing stars in the Arab world when his voice touched different generations and lovers of this fine art.
After the opening with the music of the cup reader of the composer Muhammad Al-Mouji, the wheel of the journey started with the sweet song, which came with the voice of Rayan Jarira, who also performed a clip from the song “Promise, Wadi Al-Qanadeel” and “Hawa Hawaya”.
He alternately revived the concert with each of Heba Fahim, who starred in my song “Asmar Ya Asmarani” and “All I Say of Repentance” and in my song “Belm Beck” and tell him the truth. Every artist.
Abdul Malik Ismail appeared on the stage with the two songs “Tkhnouh” and “Khayef Once I Love”, after which the four artists announced the end of the concert with an anthem that I swear to her name and her dust from the words of Abdul Rahman Al-Abnoudi and composed by Kamal Al-Taweel.
In an interview with SANA, Maestro Al-Khalidi explained that a journey with the tunes is an artistic project that was launched last year with different types of lyrical and musical colors, whether Syrian or Arab, considering that it achieved a great success in touching the feelings of the audience, which made him bear the responsibility of reviving it in another way.
Al-Khalidi chose the works of Abdel Halim Hafez, which he presented in several films dating back to different eras in the life of Abdel Halim. A number of great professors such as Baligh Hamdi, Kamal Al-Taweel, Munir Murad and Muhammad Abdel Wahab, in addition to the song that he described as a miracle, were signed by Rahabna.
As for his message through this project, Maestro Al-Khalidi stressed that Syria was, is, and will remain the home of art, spreading joy from its pulpits and theaters, despite the pain it suffered, in addition to staying in direct contact with the feelings of connoisseurs of this immortal art.
In a similar statement, the director of the Damascus Orchestra, musician Muhammad Zaghloul, stated that the evening flies in the world of the dark nightingale Abdel Halim Hafez, and is the second cooperation of its kind for the orchestra with Maestro Khalidi, who is passionate about reviving beautiful music as a project to document the Syrian and Arab artistic heritage and as a serious step in developing the artistic taste of the young generation hungry for this genre. of authentic music.
