"The subject of flights abroad has become a very sought-after field, but at very high prices.
As part of the fight against the cost of living, we managed to achieve low flight prices, in combination with low-cost companies and with our consumer power," said Zvika Vilnai, CEO of the Hot Consumer Club, to Israel Hayom.
The club has 300,000 colleagues, including engineers, technologists and academics.
Vilnai added that "we will provide our members with packages, each of which will offer hundreds of flights to destinations in Europe at a price of 10 euros for a round-trip ticket. Among the desired destinations: Prague, Rome, Cyprus and Milan. Today a newsletter will be sent to all members, and on Wednesday it will be possible to register."
According to Vilnai, "the price is a combination of knowing how to locate the low-cost slots, with a small component of subsidy. On top of that, thanks to a consumer association, it is possible to reach an affordable price.
"I assume that in the future the price will stabilize at the level of tens of euros, but certainly less than 100 euros. It is a first-come, first-served basis. We also allow spouses to join our club at no cost. Any spouse who is keenly registered will also be able to book a flight at this price."
Vilnai is critical of the cost of living and the government.
According to him, "The story of the flights is only one thing. The government is obligated to provide the residents of the country with general security but also with economic security. As soon as there is an increase in prices in all areas, our economic security is damaged and this is no less serious than general security. It is a form of 'terrorism' that creeps into our lives ".
Referring to real estate, he said that "the most expensive component is the land.
The state went through a thought process and it said it is ready to give land almost for free, but the land goes through a developer.
If they do a lottery, why not give the land directly to the young couples?
This is not new.
The army built whole neighborhoods and there were also associations of ultra-orthodox who built like that.

You offer benefits in a variety of consumption areas, to what extent have you seen price increases among your suppliers?
"We feel the cost of living in two parameters. As soon as there is an increase in the cost of living, we see an increase in the number of requests to the club. Recently the rate has doubled. We know how to produce discounts on food and we are the only ones offering a discount of 30 cents per liter.
"We have seen the suppliers we work with raise prices. The benefits are relative. If we get 10% and the price has gone up, the discount will be from the new price. We all feel the price increases and we see that the price we paid a month ago does not exist today. At this rate it will not be the price either In a month. The state wanted to do a good deed and did a bad thing. It developed a tool that would allow the consumer to compare prices."
