Fire brigade loses comrades (18): Young motorcyclist dies in an accident - emergency services in shock

An 18-year-old fireman from Feldkirchen died in an accident with his motorcycle on the B471.

His comrades went to work themselves.

Feldkirchen - An 18-year-old student from Feldkirchen died in a motorbike accident on the 471 federal road near Aschheim on Wednesday evening.

The young man was a member of the Feldkirchen volunteer fire brigade – which was not yet clear when his own comrades were alerted to the scene of the accident.

The terrible news quickly reached Deputy Mayor Herbert Vanvolsem, who is currently deputizing for Mayor Andreas Janson.

"It is very, very tragic that a young man who volunteered to serve the community as a member of the fire brigade is so terribly taken from life," said Vanvolsem the day after the accident at the request of the Munich Merkur .

It was also terrible for the fire brigade comrades who rushed to the scene of the accident to help.

For the moment, all that remains is to wish the family a lot of strength and strength;

and also the comrades of the fire brigade and all other friends.

The police describe the course of the accident in their press report as follows: On Wednesday, August 17, shortly after 8 p.m., a 23-year-old man from Munich was driving his car on Feldkirchner Straße (B 471) from Aschheim in the direction of Feldkirchen.

According to initial findings, the man from Munich wanted to turn left onto state road 2082 with his red Mazda.

He must have overlooked the oncoming motorcyclist on his Honda, who wanted to continue straight ahead at the junction.

The young man on the motorbike didn't have a chance to evade.

He crashed head-on into the right front of the car.

The 18-year-old student from Feldkirchen sustained serious injuries.

During ongoing resuscitation, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Fatal accident: First, the fire brigade comrades of the casualty in use

At the scene of the accident, 21 members of the Feldkirchen volunteer fire brigade were also initially deployed, where the victim lived.

Not only that: the young man was himself a member of the volunteer fire brigade.

The operations center in the district office withdrew the Feldkirchner forces and alerted the Aschheim volunteer fire brigade as a replacement to the scene of the accident.

The route between Feldkirchen and Aschheim was closed for several hours to record the accident, which also included a team of experts.

The fire department illuminated the scene of the accident.

According to the police, the driver was unharmed, as were his two passengers, 29 and 66 years old.

The Munich traffic police took over the further investigations.

The Feldkirchen fire brigade commemorates their deceased young comrade on Facebook with a post with a black ribbon;

"in deep connection and sadness".

Many other fire brigades have already joined.
