In the video taken by a nearby security camera, the commercial vehicle is seen colliding with vehicles on the nearby road and racing into the parking lot at tremendous speed, knocking down and running over passers-by. 



The Turkish Minister of Health, Faratin Koca, reported that 29 people were injured in the horrific accident and added that eight of them were in serious condition.

According to the authorities' announcement, a previous accident had occurred at the scene of the accident and rescue and rescue forces were already present at the scene. 

In addition, another horrific accident occurred not far away, near the city of Gaziantep, also in eastern Turkey, when a minibus overturned and 16 people, including two firefighters and a journalist, died in the accident.
