Three people were killed today in a traffic accident in the village of New Peerland, near Rotterdam, in the south of the Netherlands.
And the Dutch channel Rheinmond quoted police spokeswoman Ilian Mastoyk as saying: The truck veered and rammed a group of people who were having a barbecue party on the side of the road in a village, killing and wounding a number of them.
The police have opened an investigation into why the truck veered off the road.
