The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection issued a circular today obligating juice factories to operate at their maximum capacity according to the specifications of their machines during the citrus season.
The ministry clarified in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that every factory that does not operate at its maximum capacity or uses industrial concentrates will be subject to Legislative Decree No. (8) of 2021 containing the Consumer Protection Law.
The statement indicated that the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade prevented the import of concentrates and juices earlier.
