Apparently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking for a new home.
The potential neighbors are anything but enthusiastic.
MONTECITO - The possible move of Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41) to an even more exclusive location in Santa Barbara is already causing concern among potential new residents.
Those close to the Homeowners Association (HOA) at Hope Ranch told tmz that there are a number of people who would not like the Sussexes moving into their neighborhood.
The problem is apparently the expected unrest that the ex-royals would bring with them.

No one in California's upscale Hope Ranch neighborhood has anything against the royal couple personally, but
all the media circus blaming the family of four could lead to more unrest

Sussexes' presence

The streets there are narrow and winding, and with potential paparazzi it is no longer safe, especially for children who play and go to school there, they say.
The former royals currently live in the Montecito neighborhood in California, which is populated by stars and starlets, where Katy Perry (37) and Orlando Bloom (45), Oprah Winfrey (68) and Jennifer Aniston (53) also live.
This makes the city a target for gangs of thieves, and this is also believed to be the reason why the Sussexes are now turning their backs on their €14 million mansion.
Are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry worried about their safety?
US media reported in the summer that Harry and Meghan had to call the police to their home in Montecito six times.
As "The US Sun" reported, the security alarm was triggered twice within twelve days on their property in May alone.
But there can also be completely different reasons, especially since the security situation in Hope Ranch, only 17 kilometers away, is unlikely to be any different.
The current neighborhood is more than relaxed about the alleged "problem situation".
Harry and Meghan are said to be leaving their luxurious villa soon, which they bought for around 14 million US dollars in the summer of 2020 (symbolic image, photomontage).

The never-ending rumors that the villa is a sham could also be an aspect of a move.
Allegedly, a curse weighs on the building, which is also said to have a gruesome past.
The family with their children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1) also allegedly suffer from massive odor nuisance.
From the nearby nature reserve, a salt marsh is said to give off a horrible stench.
