A 30-year-old Palestinian man was killed and a 50-year-old man was seriously injured in a car accident that happened today (Sunday) between two private vehicles on road 351 between Tkao and Nokdi.
After the rescue operations of the men who were trapped in one of the vehicles, the dead man was pronounced dead on the spot and the seriously injured man was taken to the hospital.

Sergeant Yosef Elazar, the team commander: "Upon arriving at the scene of the accident, we identified a complex and difficult scene. There were about four vehicles involved with difficult kinematics.
"After an initial assessment of the situation at the scene, it turned out that there were two trapped people, one seriously injured and the other dead according to the medical officials. We immediately began operations to rescue the injured, in cooperation with firefighters from the Palestinian Authority. Upon completion of the rescue operations and the transfer of the injured to the treatment of the medical officials, we performed rescue operations of the dead".
