The violinist, Adnan Al-Hayek, returned to the audience of the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh to the beautiful time and the authentic tarab, to present in a musical evening a variety of plays by the great singers, in the presence of a large presence of artists and lovers of original art.
The musician Al-Hayek, who is considered one of the veteran generation, started the evening with the playing of Longa by Riyad Al-Sunbati, followed by a bouquet of Abdel Halim Hafez songs, including Asmar, O Asmarani and I dream of Beck and the first time you love, my heart, love and promise, in addition to the song Qiraat Al-Fanjan, which delighted the audience and interacted with it by singing .
And the singer of the generation, Mayada Al-Hinnawi, had a share in the Al-Hayek program, as he performed plays for a year ago, and he could have loved us and loved us, to conclude with “I love you.”
During the evening, the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate of Culture of Damascus, and the Syrian Creative Cultural Club honored the musician Al-Hayek for his long and rich career.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Al-Hayek said that honoring the artist's life gives him moral motivation and the desire to give and present more creations.
Regarding his musical work, he indicated that he collaborated with a large number of great musicians, such as Sobhi Jarour and Amin Al-Khayat, and worked with the generation singer Mayada Al-Hinnawi for ten years, to devote himself to teaching children, especially those with disabilities.
The Director of Damascus Culture, Naima Suleiman, indicated that the honor is a touch of loyalty, and the artist Adnan Al-Hayek deserved the honor of the Minister of Culture in appreciation of his artistic career and his continuous efforts in building artistic activities.
Theatrical director and supervisor of the event, Basil Hashem, explained that it was held in honor of the efforts of the artist Hayek and his voluntary participation in more than 120 events affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, and in appreciation of his achievements in teaching music to children with disabilities and treating autism through music.
The musician Adnan Al-Hayek holds a diploma in preparing music teachers. He is a music researcher. He worked on radio and television and played with major stars, including Mayada Al-Hanawi, the late Sabah Fakhri and Melhem Barakat.
