"Any nuclear attack in Ukraine will trigger a response - not nuclear, but powerful enough to destroy the Russian army," so warns the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Joseph Borrell.
At the opening of a diplomatic academy in Belgium, Borrell said that Moscow needs to know how serious the West is.
"Putin says he is not bluffing. Well, he cannot afford to bluff, and it should be clear that all the nations that support Ukraine, the European Union and its member states, as well as the US and NATO are not bluffing either."

In the meantime, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that the alliance will transfer to Kiev systems to deal with UAVs. NATO, held in Brussels, "these are hundreds of means to jam signals, as well as means to protect the residents of Ukraine and facilities of critical importance."

Since Monday of this week, Russia has been attacking the population of Ukraine's cities and energy facilities with missile strikes and increasingly - also with drone launches. Germany sent an IRIS-SLM air defense system this week, and two American-Norwegian NASAMS systems are expected to arrive shortly. However, Ukraine needs many more systems because of the area they have to cover.
Stoltenberg's statement came hours after the report in the "New York Times", according to which Israel began to play a more significant role in the war alongside Ukraine, after the Iranian drones entered the campaign. According to the report, an Israeli company provides "basic intelligence" regarding the drones.
On top of that, a source who spoke to the newspaper anonymously, revealed that a private Israeli company provides "satellite photos of Russian positions" to Kiev.
Last week, Ukraine's ambassador to Israel, Yevhan Kornichuk, told "Israel Today" that "Russia's rapprochement with Iran is a very significant factor that will bring Israel and Ukraine closer together."
According to him, "We were warned a long time ago that Iran has not bad drones, even before the signing of contracts (between Russia and Tehran) and said that they are dangerous and carry significant payloads.
This is a threat to Israel, and Israel is very interested in the experience gained in Ukraine in dealing with UAVs."
