A 13-year-old boy was fatally wounded by gunfire in Jasr al-Zarqa.
A medical team evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera with a chest injury.
His condition is unstable and he was transferred to an operating room.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
According to his family members, he was wounded by a shot in the middle of the street that he did not aim at when he went to buy pizza.
MDA paramedic Tamara Yudelwitz Shalit said: "The boy was lying in the street while he was conscious and suffering from a severe penetrating injury to his body.
We gave him life-saving medical treatment that included fluids and drugs to stop bleeding and performed a tiny emergency surgery in the field, and evacuated him while continuing medical treatment when his condition was serious and unstable."
