The writer Nizar Brik Henedy signs his book (This is how Gibran spoke) within the activities of the Syrian Book Fair

The writer Dr. Nizar Brik Henedy signed the first copy of his book (This is how Gibran spoke), as part of the cultural activities of the Syrian Book Fair, which is being held by the Ministry of Culture at the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus.

Heneidy, through his book issued by the Syrian General Book Organization, tried to raise many critical issues that are still awaiting research in the literature of Gibran Khalil Gibran, without following in the footsteps of the predecessor in recounting the details of his life and dealing with his works, which did not give him the critical lesson he deserves.

Where the author focused on a set of points, most notably the formation factors that established Gibran's intellectual, literary and artistic personality and the structure of Gibran literature, as well as his pioneering role in the modernity movement in literature.

Dr. Henedy indicated in a statement to SANA that the works of Gibran Khalil Gibran are among the literary works that have been able to withstand time and succeed in its examination. Today, more than ninety years after the death of its creator, it is still at the top of the bestseller lists, and publishing houses are still It is racing to reissue it in popular editions sometimes, and luxury editions at other times.

He added: This confirms that Gibran's creativity belongs to the original and immortal creativity that must be stood by and presented to new generations.

As for Henedy, he is a Syrian poet and critic. He has eight collections of poetry, in addition to his books on theoretical and applied literary criticism, and a member of the Arab Writers Union. He has won many honors and awards and held multiple positions in cultural affairs.
