Rishi Sunak is now the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Designated by his peers in the Conservative Party, and appointed on Tuesday by Charles III, he becomes at 42 one of the youngest heads of government and the first of Indian origin in British history.
This practicing Hindu, if he is still in office on May 6, 2023, will take his place in the front row of Westminster Abbey, to witness the king's coronation, amid coats of arms, ermine coats and jewels of the crown.
